Wei Group Limited was established to work with businesses and organisations wanting to optimise value recovery for end-of-life or surplus IT assets.
With backgrounds in IT and business, founding members David Zhang and Chris Harvey saw the opportunity to fill a growing business need for the efficient and secure decommissioning of a range of IT assets but in a way that provided the best possible financial return on them.
Their business has grown since inception but they have purposefully ensured it remains personal and malleable so they can provide customers with options that are tailored to their specific security, financial, auditing and practical requirements.
Together they have more than 20 years’ experience in IT and business with David having earnt University Business Degrees in China and New Zealand and has worked with many successful companies both inside and outside of IT. Chris started out in hospitality having trained as chef at AUT, but made the transition to IT 14 years ago. Chris brings with him the professionalism and processes required in the kitchen to IT Warehousing.
From humble beginnings they now work with some of New Zealand’s best known corporations, government, IT and leasing companies etc as well as international companies in a business that is growing steadily to be well respected.
